EDUCATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF CANTERBURY ENROLMENT OF STUDENTS, 1964 ALL INTERNAL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO ENROL AS SHOWN BELOW:— (1) REGISTERED PH.D.’s MASTERS AND B.Sc. (Hons.) FINAL YEAR— Collect an enrolment form and. for first year Masters, a bursary application form (if eligible). from the Registry (vailable after February 17) complete the form, obtain Tutor’s signature. and return the forms to the Registry before February 29. An account for fees payable will be sent later in the term, and no payment will be accepted at the time of returning the enrolment form. (2) ENGINEERING (PROFESSIONAL YEARS)— Students entering classes in Engineering subjects of the Professional Years who have not completed enrolment by post report directly to the Bursar. School of Engineering Riccarton. to enrol. (3) ALL OTHERS— All other students are required to enrol in person on the dates shown below, according to the instructions shown on the enrolment form. ENROLMENT DATES MONDAY, February 24—Commerce students. Fine Arts Diploma students who have not enroled by post. Law students who live in Christchurch area. TUESDAY. February 25—Arts. Science. Music, all Intermediates, Diploma in Education. Students who live in Christchurch area whose surnames begin A-K. WEDNESDAY, February 26 Arts. Science, Music all Intermediates. Diploma in Education. Students who live in Christchurch area whose surnames begin L-Z. THURSDAY, February 27.—Arts students who live outside Christchurch area. FRIDAY, February 28.—Law, Science. Music, all Intermediates, Diploma in Education. Fine Arts, non Diploma Students who live outside Christchurch area. ENROLMENT PROCEDURE Enrolment will take place between 9 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. on the days shown above. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT A STUDENT WHO ATTENDS ON THE WRONG DAY WILL BE ENROLLED BEFORE MARCH 2. All students except Fine Arts students must report in the first instance as follows: First year students—Room 41, in the East Block. Other than first year students —Room G2 in the Geography Block to collect enrolment and other forms. Fine Arts Diploma students who have not completed enrolment by post and Fine Aits NON Diploma students will commence enrolment at the School of Fine Arts 108 Ham road, and will complete this by paying fees at the University Hall. All students enrolling at a university for the first time must produce evidence of the University Entrance qualification. Pupils enrolled for fulltime instruction in any secondary school are not permitted to matriculate. Students for the Diploma in Fine Arts without University Entrance qualification must produce birth certificate, Fine Arts Preliminary Certificate and evidence of three years' post-primary school study. Applicants for bursaries are required to produce evidence of eligibility (including Higher School Certificate, if awarded). Students whose fees will be paid by Government Departments (other than the Education Department, but including Teachers’ College Division A and C) must produce, on enrolment, evidence of this from the departments concerned. Otherwise students will be required to pay the fees themselves and obtain a refund later. Lectures in all courses will commence on Monday. March 2. Students who have completed enrolment by post are not required during the week February 24 to 28. ENROLMENT FEE: ALL STUDENTS ARE LIABLE FOR AN ENROLMENT FEE OF £lO (NOT CLAIMABLE ON BURSARIES ETC.).
