Situation.—Anti-cyclones are centred north-east of the Chatham and over the central Tasman Sea. A depression lies far to the south of the country. The associated weak cold front is moving east over the south of the South Island. Nelson and Marlborough.—Light to moderate norther lies; fine and warm, apart from some areas of coastal low cloud night and morning and isolated afternoon showers on the ranges.
