AMENDED OFFER
Changes Made By “Herald” (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 13. The notice of a take-over offer by Wilson and Horton, Ltd., for the Wellington Publishing Company, Ltd., has been totally withdrawn. Notice has been given of a new offer to be made on February 28 with technical alterations in respect of statutory requirements. The main conditions of the offer will be unaltered.
The offer will be amended to cover more specifically the new issue shares at £lB 15s 6d (application money £7 10s, rights £ll 5s 6d). New clauses will be added restraining the Wellington Publishing Company from declaring bonuses, dividends, etc., or selling assets while the offer is open. The offer will be conditional on acceptance in respect of 50,001 shares. The words "or less” in the original will be deleted.
