M.P.s Making Pacific Tour
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 13. The National Party caucus today chose Mr G. A. Walsh (Tauranga), Sir Leslie Munro (Waipa), and Mr D. S. Thomson (Stratford) as members of a party of six members of Parliament who will make a month’s ‘‘know your neigh- ( bour” tour of Pacific islands' next month. The other three members,, chosen at the Labour Party! caucus this week, are Messrs-W. A. Fox (Miramar),; E. J. Tizard (Otahuhu), and! M. Rata (Northern Maori). ! Mr Walsh will lead the . party, which will visit Fiji,: Samoa, the Cook Islands, and; Niue. They will journey byj air and by the Government! vessel, Moana Roa.
