WITH FIFTH TRAINER
The veteran . galloper, Compensate, which has had seven seasons of racing and 18 wins, is in training again, with his fifth trainer. Compensate has entered the Washdyke stable of B. T. Jones, who will prepare the gelding for a hurdling career if he fails td show form on the flat Compensate was trained at Riccarton last season
by J. L. Barr, who took him over from R. W. Bromby. His previous trainers were P. H. C. Stock, for whom he won the Metropolitan Handicap at Riccarton, and J. C. Hbbbs. Compensate failed to shew form in nine starts list season, bitt th 76 starts from his previous six seasons, he gained 18 wins and 19 placing; for His KWMW owner, Mr V. A. Vdyce.
