REVOLT IN KWILU

(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter— Copyright) LEOPOLDVILLE, Feb. 12. .The revolt in the western province of Kwilu ' was “made in China,” the Congo Planning Minister (Mr Celphas Kamitatu) asserted today. He said the leader of the revolt, Mr Pierre Mulele, did not lack “assistance in finance and in arms from Communist China.” The Minister was writing in a two-page article in the pro-Government newspaper “Le Progress.” Newcastle Wool.— Merino fleece wools continued to show a strong firming tendency at the closing sales of the seventh Newcastle series of wool sales today.
