Eleven British subjects and two Italians held under house arrest by Somali troops at iHargeisa have been ordered to fly to Aden by the Kenya Minister of Agriculture, Mr Bruce McKenzie. American officials in Nairobi who are in touch with their vice-consul at Hargeisa said they had no information yet suggesting Somalia was willing to release the prisoners.
