TELEVISION IN CAR
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MELBOURNE. Feb. 11
A 62-year-old retired plumber drove down a main street in Melbourne, with a television set installed above the back seat of his car. In court today, Edward Ross, was fined £4 for having installed a television receiver in a car contrary to the regulations. A police constable said he saw Ross’s car with a set fitted to the back seat. The screen of the set faced forward, so that it could be seen through the rear vision mirror by the driver.
