Carnegie Grants

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) NEW YORK, Jan. 15. The Carnegie Corporation of New York today anounced the award of travel grants to two New Zealanders to enable them to travel abroad. The grants were made to: Dr. D. M. C. Dale, principal of the School for the Deaf, Auckland, to study education of the deaf in the United States. Mr R. M. Chapman, professor of political studies at the University of Auckland, to study teaching of political science in the United States and Canada.
