Missile Boat For France
(N-Z.P.A .-Reuter—Copyright) PARIS, January 14. France’s first missilecarrying submarine is expected to be launched at Cherbourg in mid-March. Called Gymnote, it will be equipped with four launchers capable of firing Polaris-type missiles from under the water. Security equipment designed for France’s first nuclear submarines will be tested aboard the Gymnote.
Track Safe. — Tourist Department officials yesterday found the Milford track safe for a party to attempt it today.—(P.A.)
