Steadier Tone To N.Z. Share Trading
There was a steadier tone to trading on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday with over-all rises and falls almost in balance. New Zealand leaders were firm, but overseas leaders " ere easier. Matakana Milling up 3s 5d ex dividend, Kanieri up Is 9d, Donaghy and Love Construction both up Is 6d, and Pye and Ivon Watkins both up ]9 s " ere amonff the hest e " Zealand gains. Lane’s Industries lost 5d to Among overseas shares Castlemaine Perkins gained another 9d, Mount Isa 6d, Kauri 3d, and Ansett and Ready Mixed Concrete 2d.
