ALISTAIR WOODWARD (right) is a valuable all-rounder for his side, the Christchurch High School Old Boys’ C team, and he is also a member of a keen cricketing family. He is shown with his two younger brothers, Frank and Matthew, watching the senior matches at Hagley Oval. A good example of the benefits of fitness, Alistair frequently went on long training runs with the Christchurch Harrier Club last winter, and he still goes for regular long jogs with his father, Mr J.L. Woodward, who is on the teaching staff of the University of Canterbury.
