(N.Z. Presa Association) DUNEDIN, November 17. Heavy scoring by Taieri, with S. Dunn making a slashing century in a total of 349 for eight wickets declared, and another grand bowling performance by the left-arm spinner, N. T. Woods, for Kaikorai A. were the outstanding features of Dunedin cricket on Saturday. In his total of 148, Dunn cracked five sixes and 14 fours; Woods took eight wickets in an innings for the second time this season. They eost him only 42 runs off 30 overs. S. N. McGregor, who recently transferred from Christchurch, signalled his return with a polished 44 against Kaikorai A. Scores were:— Albion 207 (L. F. Watson 54; F. J. Cameron five for 66) Dunedin 20 for one. Grange 187 (G. Fleury 71; N. T. Woods eight for 42), Kaikorai A 155 for four. Kaikorai B 183, North East Valley 59 for no wicket Taieri 349 for eight declared (S. Dunn 148), Carlsbrook 26 for no wicket. Old Boys 133, University 145 for three (K. Deaker 69 not out).
