fN.Z. Preu Assn.—Copyright) MIAMI. Nov. 12. The Cuban Government today announced conscription of all men aged from 17 to 45 for three years’ military service, the Associated Press reported. Registration will start next month. A decree by the Defence Minister (Major Raul Castro) announced on Havana Radio, said women from 17 to 35 would also have to register but would only be called into service in the event of war. He indicated that the men called into military service would be used to help harvest the next sugar cane and coffee crops.
