Found Lying Injured
(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, Nov. 14. A young Wanganui motorcyclist was found early this morning lying injured beside his crashed cycle on Taupo quay extension. The police said today the youth, Brian Carson, aged 18. an apprentice electrician, of Gonvifle avenue, had apparently lain there for some time. He is now in the Wanganui Hospital with head injuries and is said to be in satisfactory condition.
Principal to Retire. — Miss M. Mitchell is to retire as principal of Turakina Maori Girls’ College. Miss Mitchell has been principal for 13 of her 28 years’ service with the college. The Presbyterian General Assembly, placed on record its appreciation of her long and faithful service.
