A fair and square look at Tax Facts No National Government has increased tax rates. C? No Labour Government has reduced any taxes which it had not first increased. Only the National Government has progressively reduced tax rates which .were in existence when it took office. IGes* Only the Labour Government has introduced new taxes which did not exist before it took office. When there’s a National Government people always earn more and keep more of what they earn. Don’t be fooled by “new look” talk from Labour’s “new” leaders. It’s the same party making the same sort of highsounding promises that always lead to high-climbing taxes. In point of fset, Labour’s current crop of election promises would cost over £5O million—WHO PAYS THE BILL? N/. NATIONAL fAKTf NfJM
