A Leopard Remembers
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter — Copyright) MELBOURNE. Nov. 12. Kim, a 23-month-old leopard, nuzzled up to Miss Pat Wilson, of New Zealand, at the Melbourne Zoo. Miss Wilson reared Kim at the Auckland Zoo. It is a year ago today since Kim last saw Miss Wilson, but he showed he had not forgotten her. He leapt down from an Bft ledge in has cage when she called his name, and bounded over to the bars. He ignored the snarls of protest from a black female leopard which shares his cage. Kim stayed at the wire for several minutes while Miss Wilson talked to him. A battery of press and television photographers frightened him away.
