TOO YOUNG FOR SCHOOL
Boy Keeps On Attending (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) LONDON, November 12. Three-year-old Clarence Gordon faces a predicament I few boys will understand—lhe cannot keep away from school. He turns up nearly every i day at Grove Primary School, Cambridge, although |he is too young, the "Daily I Mail” said. ' The first day Clarence appeared, the teacher was taken aback to find she had one pupil too many. The headmaster, Mr Norman Walker, was called and found Clarence sitting in the middle of the class, waiting for a story to be read. The reluctant Clarence was taken home and told to come back to school when he was five. But it was only a few days before he turned up again, and he has been back a number of times since. His mother said: “I just can’t keep him away. . . . He keeps nipping up the road and trying to get into a classroom.”
