Post Office In Wanganella
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERCARGILL Nov. 13. The only permanent New Zealand post office in a ship opened today. Known as Deep Gove, the new office is aboard the Wanganella and will serve the men employed by Utah-Williamson-Bumett on the construction of the Manapouri tail-race tunnel The office will offer a full service of tolls, telegraph, postal and savings bank facilities to the 400 men who will eventually be employed there. The postmaster is Mr T. Minnery, of Utah's staff, who is at present being trained in his duties by a Post Office officer, Mr N. D. Mclntyre.
