De Gaulle Less Popular
(Special Crspdt. H2f A.) LONDON. Nov 13. There has been a slight drop in President de Gaulle's popularity with the French electorate during the last month, according to a poll taken by the French Institute of Public Opinion. The percentage of those “satisfled" with President de Gaulle in October dropped two points from September to 46 per cent. The number of those dissatisfied rose one point to 10 per cent, equalling the record level reached in March during the coalminers’ strike At no time this year has President de Gaulle been able to regain anything like the 64 per cent level of satisfaction recorded before the strike.
