DEATH OF U.S. REPORTER
Suspected Heart Attack An American newspaper correspondent died yesterday morning at the United States Antarctic Expedition headquarters, Christchurch airport. The correspondent, Ralph S. O’Leary, science editor of the “Texas Post,” Houston, died in his bed at 9.40 a.m. of a suspected heart attack. He was 51. Mr O’Leary was a member of the first press visitor group to the Antarctic last week. He was to return home yesterday afternoon. His body was taken to the Christchurch Public Hospital, and will be transferred to Auckland after a post-mor-tem examination. He is survived by his wife. Mrs Ellen F. O'Leary, of Houston. Texas.
