Hot Seats
(Special Crspdt. N.Z J I .A.) LONDON, Nov. 13. It is now possible to sit in comfort on a hot seat, says the “Daily Telegraph.” describing a new upholstered stool with a built-in heating pad which has just come on the market. It can be plugged into the mains and heated. The stool costs £7 8s 9d. You can also have plastic lavatory seats heated by electricity for £8 5s or a nylon car seat cover with plastic insulation which radiates back the body temperature for £3 ss.
House Burgled.— A purse containing £l7 10s was stolen when a house in Wordsworth street was entered through an unlocked window between- November 5 and 9, it was reported to the police yesterday.
