NO LICENCE TO DRIVE
None For 15 Years (N.Z. Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH. November 11 “Driving for 15 years without a licence must be nearly a record." said Mr D G Sinclair S.M. in the Palmerston North Magistrate's Court today, fining James Haddon, aged 36. a linesman, £lO and costs for driving without a licence, £ 1 for having no warrant of fitness, and £ 7 10s for failing to yield the right of way. and thus prevent an accident, aft an intersection. Haddon was also diisquahged from driving for three months. Inspector A. S. Chiles said Haddon admitted to the police that he had not held a driver's licence for the last 15 yeans.
