SHOW TEAM
An average show team in the sheep 'Section could comprise more than 50 sheep. Mr J. R. Little, a Corriedale breeder of Hui Hui, Hawarden, said recently his average show team consisted of about 30 rams and 23 ewes. A good show ram could weigh between 2301 b and 2501 b in the Corriedale section and should clip about 281 b of wool. The weight of one of Mr Little’s hoggets was in the vicinity of 1801 b. One of his young rams had a fleece in which the length of the staple was measured at inches, which is very good for a fine wool sheep.
