CRISIS IN ITALY
Moro Asked To Form Govt. (NZPA -Reuter—Copyright) ROME, November 11. President Antonio Segni, of Italy, tonight asked the Christian Democrat leader, Mr Aldo Moro, aged 47, to form a new government. Mr Moro, a professor of law, reserved acceptance pending talks with other party leaders. Mr Moro is committed to a Left-leaning coalition which will bring Socialists into the Government for the first time in 16 years. He has also pledged to take Democratic Socialists and Republicans into the Government. This would tilt it to the Left in domestic economic affairs. but keep it firmly in the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.
