Orchestra Members Entertain
Two members of the Junior National Orchestra were guest artists at a social held by the Cambrian Society of Canterbury recently. They were Misses Kathryn Wyn Evans (violin) and Pauline Drain (clarinet). Other items were given by Miss Margaret Williams (pianoforte). Miss Dilys Parry and Mr David Bishop (vocal solos). A copy of the “Western Mail.” a Welsh newspaper, containing pictures of the Queen and Prince Philip at the Eisteddfod at Llandudno, and the Queen at Caernarvon Castle, declaring the town the first Royal borough in Wales, was shown at the social The president of the society (Mr J. G. Parry) was welcomed back after an absence because of ill health.
