U.S. TARIFF DECISION

President Kennedy scored an important foreign policy victory yesterday when the Senate voted to restore his authority to grant most-fav-oured-nation tariff treatment to Jugoslavia and Poland. The Senate also voted to bar any military or economic assistance to any Communist country under the foreign aid programme
