THREE-RANGE COMPETITION
H. Wakefield Wins Countback
A count-back was required to determine the winner of the Christchurch Rifle Club's second three-range competition fired at Tat Tapu on Saturday. H. Wakefield was the narrow winner, with R. W. Johnstone and N. Greaves second and third respectively. The conditions were seven shots and two optional lighters at each of 300, 500, and 600 yards. A fine performance was that of R. E. Taylor, who, for the fourth conaecutive Saturday won the prize tor the top score off the rifle.
