Another 60Mile Run
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, November 8. Gale force head winds and ice-cold rain were met by R. L. Puckett, the Auckland long-distance runner, during the second stage of his Auckland-Wellington run today. Maintaining his 60 miles a day schedule, Puckett ran from Huntly to Hangatiki today. According to Mr A. L. Lydiard, who is keeping the runner company on the seven-day journey, Puckett is confident that he can complete the distance.
