Two Hurt When Car Hits Pole
When a car driven by Ruby Lois Dutton, of 58 Huxley street. Sydenham, was turning left from Fisher avenue into Colombo street about 11 a.m. on Saturday the driver's door flew opem Mrs Dutton lost control of the car, and it struck a power pole in Colombo street. Mrs Dutton was treated at the Christchurch Hospital for chest injuries. A passenger, Noreen Mullins. of 44 Huxley street, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital suffering from head and leg injuries.
