Economic Aid
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 1. Setting aside at least 1 per cent of the New Zealand national income (a sum of at least £lO million) for economic development of underdeveloped eountries will be recommended to the Government The Methodist Church of New Zealand approved this at its annual conference tonight. The recommendation added: “even if this means an increase in the level of taxation.”
