Entertainment For Aged
Twenty-three patients from the Jubilee Home were among about 100 members and friends of the Linwood Townswomen’s Guild who were entertained recently by the guild’s drama and choral circles. Many of the guests were elderly persons unable to attend meetings unless transport is provided for them and they were taken to and from the function by guild members. The president, Mrs E. Meers, welcomed guests and presented each with a novelty posy, made from a decorated cake of soap. Mrs K. Godfrey thanked the guild.
