Drawing Pins Save Wallpaper

A drawing pin stuck in each of the four corners of a picture will let air between the back of the picture and the wall. This will prevent a dust line forming on the wall, usually found at springcleaning time. Drawing pins or rubber-head tacks stuck into the head-boards of beds, or in any other furniture where it is likely to be bumped up against a wall, will save wear and tear on wallpaper in homes where there are energetic children.
