Buchanan Memorial Handicap, first leg of the double, at Motukarara on Saturday. Sailorman was third. BOTTOM: Yankinville (outside) and Newbrook battling out the finish of the second leg, the Le Bons Handicap. Yankinville won by a nose. Shakes was third, Royal Leigh (middle) fourth, and Approval (rails) fifth. Just entering the picture is Picca Leigh, which came sixth.
