SERIOUSLY BURNED
Boys Light Petrol - (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, November 3. A 13-year-old Tauranga boy was seriously burned this afternoon in an accident with a bottle of petrol. The name of the boy has not been released by the Taiuranga police. His 10-year-oid brother was not injured. When the two boys tried to bum the paint off a toy motor-oar with some petrol, the bottle was accidentally dropped on the garage floor and the elder boy was enveloped in flame. The boys’ grandmother suffered minor burns when she was summoned by the younger boy. She was treated at the Tauranga Hospital and discharged.
