Rock Through Roof

A 151 b rock smashed through the roof of a house in Seccombes road, Auckland, yesterday afternoon, missing the owner, Mr K. Ryan, and his 14-month-old daughter, Claire, by a few feet. The rock landed in a bedroom. smashing a mahogany dressing tabic. Workmen were blasting nearby on a section of motorway in Gillies avenue.
