Boilermakers’ New Award
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 3. Increases of 3d an hour in minimum pay rates are included in a new award for Northern, Wellington, Canterbury, Otago and Southland boilermakers issued this week by the Arbitration Court. Extra payment is provided for boilermakers with a trade certificate, and increases of up to 6d are also incorporated for travelling time allowances.
The new award, which includes the unqualified preference clause, will be in force for two years.
