Medical Physicists' Association
The annual meeting of the New Zealand Medical Physicists’ Association will be held freon November 12 to 14 at the National! Radiation Laboratory The feature lecture of the meeting, the Strong Memorial Lecture. will be given by the director of the Laboratory, Mr G. E. Roth. The lecture is in memory of the pioneer New Zealand medical physicist Mr John Strong. Mr Strong was director of the University of Canterbury's radiophysica I laboratory, the precursor of the National Radiation Laboratory.
Other lectures will be given by scientists from the radiation laboratory and from the Christchurch and Wakari hospitals.
