Sentimental Journey

A secretary at the Auckland zoo. Miss Pat Wilson, will make a 1450-mile sentimental journey to Melbourne on Saturday to see a two-year-old leopard, Kim, at Melbourne zoo.
Miss Wilson reared Kim by hand until he was 11 months old, when he was exchanged for two Australian wombats.
She began saving immediately so that she could go to see him.
“I’m not really expecting him to recognise me, but it would be just wonderful if he did," Miss Wilson said today.
