Sobers for a duck, Victoria bad a second-wicket par’ierSbip of 230 on the opening day of the Sheffield Shield match against South Australia in Melbourne today.
The two players in the partnership were J. Potter, who made 122 in 247 minutes. and I. Redpath, 109 in 263 minutes.
Scores: Victoria 292 for six (T. Stackpole 35 not out. Sobers 3 for 73)
