Camera Tests For Ministers (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, November 1. The Baptist Church is not making the use H should of the opportunities offered by television, the general secretary of the Baptist Union ot New Zealand (Mr L. A. North) said in his annual report to the annual assembly at Auckland today. Maia centres of the church are asked to arrange television camera tests for all ministers in their areas with a view to selecting those suitable to telecasting religious programmes.
Mr North said that only a few of the church's ministers had attempted to present visual programmes.
“We shall have only ourselves to thank if we miss our opportunity of presenting the Christian message by this means of mass communication,” he added.
