Flats Sold For £6600
Offered on account of the estate of Rachel Miriam Myers, a two-atorey block of four self-contained flats at 9 Dublin street, city, was sold for £6600 at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr D. O. Chapman. The flats, which are built of wood, are on a section of 20 perches. The opening bid was £5500. There were 10 bids of £lOO, and two of £5O.
Two flats have a lounge, bedroom, sunroom, kitchenette, and bathroom. The other two flats have a livingroom, bedroom, kitchenette, and bathroom.
A bungalow at 41 Redruth avenue, Spreydon, was passed in at £l7OO. The auctioneer was Mr L. Aitken. The house has two bedrooms, sunroom, lounge, livingroom, and kitchenette. There is also a garage on the section.
