Power-Cyclists In Three Collisions
Three power-cycles were involved in road accidents in Christchurch yesterday. Mrs Christine Barron, of 218 Milton street, was struck by a power-cycle while she was walking at the corner of Colombo and Wordsworth streets about noon. Mrs Barron was taken to the Christchurch Hospital by a St. John ambulance. Her condition last evening was reported to be satisfactory. About U a.m Mr N. Danus, of 8 Glencoe crescent, suffered minor head injuries when his power-eycle and a truck collided at the intersection of Hereford and Barbados: streets Mr Danus was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital, where his condition last evening was reported to be satisfactory Mr D. F Turner, of 80 St. James avenue, suffered back injuries when his power-cycle and a car collided in Victoria > street. near Peterborough
street, at 750 a.m He was admitted to hospital, where his condition was reported as satisfactory.
