Critical TV Viewing
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 10. Schools were increasingly recognising the need for critical training in television viewing, said the Minister of Education (Mr Tennent) in Parliament today. He said the ability to criticise, discriminate and appreciate was already being encouraged and discussion of films and radio was already included in school syllabuses. Mr Tennent was replying to a question from Mr H. E. L Pickering (Govt., Hurunui).
