Airlift For Artillery
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 11. Two Bristol freighters of the RN.Z.AT. will carry 80 artillerymen and six vehicles from Ardmore to Whenuapai tomorrow morning. They will fly eight sorties. The move will be a tactical one and on arrival at Whenuapai the gunners will occupy positions in the Hobsonville area. This will be the first time that thia type of exercise has been done in New Zealand as a tactical move. The army group will consist of 80 members of the 161si Battery., 16th' Field Regiment, from Papakura Camp.
