YOUTH CAMP SITE
Gift To Salvation Army The Canterbury-Westland division of the Salvation Army is to establish a modern youth camp on a five acre site on the banks of the Glentui river, near Ashley Gorge, Oxford. The attractive property, described by the Divisional Commander (Colonel Albiston) as an “ideal camp site,” has been presented to the Salvation Army by Mr H. J. Horn. Full development would take some time, said Colonel Albiston, but it was hoped that a start at cutting scrub and clearing the site would be made by volunteer youth groups early next month.
