Sir, —Good wine, they say, needs no bush; but it is a pretty poor advertisement for the wine trade that one should have to write twice in a month to a very wellknown firm—in the North Island—and yet receive no acknowledgement; that, too, after having bought the firm’s products over a number of years. Unfortunately, this is by no means the first time that correspondence with North Island firms has proved abortive; and one is forced to conclude that they just don't want, to be bothered with people below the salt of Cook Strait.—Yours, etc., M.T. September 10, 1963.
