Talks With Mr Holyoake
(From Our Oum Reporter) WELLINGTON, Sept. 10. The Prime Minister of Western Samoa (the Hon. Flame Mata’afa) will arrive in Wellington next week for talks with the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake). It is believed the question of French nuclear testing in the Pacific is not on the official agenda but official sources say there is little doubt that a full discussion on the subject will take place. He is scheduled to arrive in Auckland rfext Tuesday and it is understood he will be in New Zealand for about 10 days. Other matters he will discuss include external policy and trading problems.
Creditors’ Meeting Adjourned.—A meeting of creditors of Mervyn John Smith, signwriter, formerly of 106 Tedder avenue, was adjourned until September 17 by the Official Assignee (Mr P. D. Clancy). Smith, who is in Hamilton, was not present. He had not yet lodged his statement of affairs.
