Leicestershire 90 for eight declared. Nottingham 57 for four wickets. At Hastings.—Match obandoned. No play because of rain in three-day match between Gilligan’s XI and Sussex. At Scarborough. England seven for 318 declared and seven for 124 declared (D. Richardson 51: K. Palmer five for 38) beat Youn-g England 152 and 205 (C. Milburn 52. A. Lewis 51; R.
