Prouting Back
R. H. Prouting, who was a successful medium-pace I bowler for Lancaster Park when it was the dominant club in Christchurch a few seasons ago, will rejoin his old club after three seasons absence. Prouting played senior cricket in Wellington and Auckland after he left Christchurch and he wiH be a welcome acquisition to Lancaster Park which has not experienced the most successful of seasons recently.
